His research-driven and empathetic writing explores the achievements and resilience of tribal communities. His notable works include the four-volume Shikhar Ko Chhoote Tribals series and Hare Ka Sahara: Khatu Shyam, which document the lives, beliefs and inspirational journeys of tribals while contributing meaningfully to literary discourse and social awareness.

Aarohi Munshi is a Bharatanatyam dancer and social worker based in Delhi. Rooted in the discipline and grace of India's classical dance tradition, she brings the same dedication to her work for society. As part of Team JLF, she supports the festival with a clear vision: to connect small cities with the metros, and to bring the kind of large-scale cultural events seen in the metros to smaller cities and towns. She is working towards this vision with commitment and passion.
